I was going to write a program for the Index to drill a 15/16 hole on each end of the slot and then drill a 1/2 inch hole in the middle to blow out as much material as possible. Then go to the 1 in end mill and plung down .2 and go the length of slot. I'd have to make 3 - 4 passes per slot.
